What is Title I and how does it apply to Phoenix?
 
Title I is the largest federal education program. Many schools around the country receive Title I funding. Major requirements of Title I include: Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), teacher and paraprofessional requirements, accountability, sanctions for schools designated for improvement, standards and assessments, annual state report cards, professional development, and parent involvement. Phoenix High School is a school-wide Title I funded school.
